Frozen Winter Ball this Friday - food donations needed!
The Winter Ball is this Friday, December 19th from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, and the PTSA is asking for your help to make it a memorable event. We would like donations of snacks, appetizers, finger foods, and desserts for the students attending the dance. We will have serving tables set up for students to help themselves during the dance. We will also be decorating the Commons for this event.
Please drop off any food donations to the office on Friday before 3:00 pm or in the Commons between 3:30 - 7:00 pm.
Also, if you would like to help decorate, please come to the Commons anytime between 3:30 - 6:30 pm on Friday.
We are also looking for volunteers who want to help organize the snack table throughout the evening. Come for the entire dance (7:00 - 10:00 pm or for an hour - whatever time you can give is appreciated.
Please contact Sherri Mills at firstname.lastname@example.org or (510) 610-4695 if you can help.
Message from the President
Dear Parents, Teachers and Students:
I hope everyone is experiencing an exciting start to the 2014-2015 school year. Your PTSA Board continues to work hard towards our mission of positively impacting the lives of all NMHS students and families. Our goal this year is help encourage and provide more communication between school administrators, teachers, students and parents. We also hope to get as many parents involved in some way throughout the school year.
I am proud to say that your PTSA Executive Board is comprised of a group of diverse, knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate parents and students as well as our principal, Mr. Morales. We pride ourselves in searching out ways to serve the NMHS students, their families, teachers and staff.
Please join us at one of General PTSA meetings (dates and times posted to the left). You too can make a difference – together we can take on and triumph over the large challenges that face our students, school, district, and state. We hope you choose to be a part of this endeavor as the high school years will fly by, but the impact we can make will last a lifetime.
