Welcome to my website! First a bit about myself. Although born in Sweden, I attended elementary school in Los Altos Hills and then finished my secondary education at Huvudnas Skolan in Vanersborg, Sweden.  I then returned with my family to the bay area and attended first Ohlone College where I received an AA degree in Fine Arts, and then SFSU where I received both my bachelor's degree in English as well as my teaching credential. I have been teaching at Newark Memorial High School since 2004 and teach freshman English and AVID. I have a host of interests outside of reading and writing, such as these are horseback riding, dog training, hiking, gardening, travel and surfing the net.
