Welcome to Ms.B's website!                       Here are a few notable announcements and reminders:

-NO SCHOOL on MONDAY 1-25-10! Teacher Work Day... Grades are due by 3pm!  PLEASE NOTE: At any given time, grades on School Loop are not always accurate because they are not always up to date. School Loop is an approximation of a student grade. If you look at the assignments listed, and then look at the assignments graded, you will understand that the grading process may still be in progress. Please also understand that it is not possible for any teacher, myself included, to have all grades up to date every time you visit School Loop. I ask for your patience while I work my way through this very busy grading period. Also, be aware that School Loop is not the official grade you will receive on your report card and high school transcript. As stated in my Class Outline, Quarter I and Quarter II grades are combined to make the final Semester grade. Semester I grades will be available in class on Tuesday, 1-26-2010.

-Semester II begins on TUESDAY 1-26-10... New semester, new opportunity for better grades. A fresh start! Be sure to review all classroom and classwork policies and have your parents/guardians sign your STUDENT CONTRACT... It's DUE by FRIDAY 1-29-10.   

Ms. Beveridge was born and raised in the SF Bay Area. She attended Newark Unified schools and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and Master's degree in Public Administration from CSU East Bay. Ms. Beveridge is married to a French National and has a 14 year-old daughter, though she also considers herself to be a mommy to her two Pomeranian dogs! Some of her hobbies include painting and drawing still life, writing poetry, interior design, traveling, photography and racing her Saab.  Ms. Beveridge became a teacher because she wanted to help young adults to learn more about the world around them and how to be successful members of a global society.
