General Announcements  

The meeting for the Spanish 5AP summer homework will be held on Monday, June 12 during lunch in room 486.

 

Students taking AP Spanish Language and Culture collect your summer packet from Mrs. Przybyla's Room 339.  This counts as extra-credit.

 

CARLOS CUEVAS, KAVEEKA LAGRIMAS, VIVIANA GAMEZ, JUAN JOSE ALANIZ-PENA, MELISSA QUEZADA.....you are the last 5 students who still need to come pick up your paintings the beginning of lunch this FRIDAY in room 440.  It is your very last chance to claim your painting or it will be auctioned off for a fundraiser.

Additionally, it's the last three days for lunch-time OPEN STUDIO.  ART 2 students your painting is DEADLINED for Friday, June 9th.  REMEMBER, NO EXTENSIONS!

 

AP Physics Summer Homework packets are ready and students can collect them from Physics Room 329. Students can pick them during lunchtime or arrange with Mrs. Jadhav.

                                     

YEARBOOKS - There will be a limited number of books available for sale if you are one of those who did not pre-order. They are being sold on a first come first served basis for $100. 

If you have any questions, please see Ms. Canales.

 

Attention incoming 11th grade AP English students: Please collect your summer work packets from Ms. Sisneros in room 729 or Mr. Oakchunas in room 703. You should also check out The Great Gatsby from the library no later than Wednesday, June 7th.

 

If you are taking AP Calculus or AP Computer Science next year you should have received Summer homework info in your math class last Friday - if you did not get this info please see Mr. Goldsmith in room 313.

 

Senior check out will end on Friday, June 9th.  Now is the time to start looking for all your books, even from past years, and turn them in.Turn the signed off check out sheets into the Registrar, Ms. Tracie Abela, in the Main Office.( If you have an outstanding debt or books that you haven't turned in, you will not be able to check out. So start looking in your car, under your bed, in the closet and turn those books in as soon as possible. 

 

Also…the “Senior Graduation Contracts” that you will receive in the mail need to be signed and turned in to Ms.Tracie Abela tomorrow or Thursday prior to handing in your Senior Check Out sheets.

 

Textbooks

1, Teachers- reminder please complete Survey Monkey for Textbooks e-mailed

    last week. Classes will be scheduled upon completion. Thanks to all who've completed survey
    thus far.

2. Textbook Schedule  and Information e-mailed  to staff. Please 
    go over with your students.

3, Volunteers needed before school, during the day, and after school to assist with textbook

    ins. Stop by library or bookroom for additional information

4. Last day library will be open at lunch is Tues. 6/6. All materials for summer work (AP, 
    Puente, Other)  should be picked up a.s.a.p. After 6/6 check-outs will only take place: before 
    school, brunch, after school. Note: No check outs will take place during periods 1-6.

 

College and Career Center

Work Permits: Students inquiring about obtaining a work permit will only be available for pick up or drop off during brunch, lunch, or after school. No work permits may be processed during class time.

 

Class News  

Attention Juniors! Fellow senior here. Some seniors and I have organized a workshop /forum to offer some of our experiences about the college application process. Since you are going to be applying for college next year, we want to make sure that you know what you're getting into and how to get started on the college application process. This workshop will be held at NEXT Monday and Tuesday at lunch, yes, 2 days, and they will be held in Mrs. Goswami's room which is room 487.

We would you all to come!!

 

Seniors: If you have not ordered your cap and gown, Michael Manning from Herff Jones will be on campus Friday on Thursday, June 15th for the Senior Breakfast & Slideshow from 9:00 am – 10:30 a.m. You may purchase the cap gown and tassel unit will be $50.00 cash or credit.   

This is the total, everything included. Tassels will be on sale,   $10.00 regular tassel, $16.00 Ice tassel.
