Gay Marriage

Gay marriage

In the United States, our civil rights and the Declaration give us many liberties. One of our liberties in the pursuit of happiness, which homosexuals aren't allowed. Telling them it's against the law to marry the person they love violates their happiness. Why should other people be able to choose who marries who? This couple in China filed a lawsuit on the registry for refusing them to marry. The changsha Furong District People's Court in China accepted their case. Sun and Hu are the first gay couple to legally fight for the right to marry in China. In Asia, people have certain expectations and have strong beliefs on how you should follow the rules and live a happy and wealthy life. It is going to be a challenge to have a gay marriage accepted in Asia. China's current marriage law says that marriages are based on the free choice of partners, "on monogamy and on equality between man and woman."
